Collected in intertidal pools, in caves at 10-30 m, and trawled at 50-100 m (FMNH 107283-107290), however also found at depths down to 250 m (Kotlyar 1985). All specimens encountered in museum collections are from esventuradas or Nazca Ridge (Kotlyar 1985, 1996), except the type specimen (USNM 164227) said to have been from Juan Fernández. |
